Hall of Fame

Legends of the game 2025

Since 2018, some incredible people have gone above and beyond for Prostate United. We want to celebrate and highlight the achievements of those who have made an extraordinary contribution. Here are our latest Hall of Fame inductees...

Steve Aquilina

Leicester City

Began Fundraising: 2023

Magic moment: Completed a run around the Leicester City Training Ground at Seagrave, to the incredible experience of completing a run at the iconic King Power stadium for Prostate United 2024.

Message from Steve: These memories are a reminder of the community and support that surrounds this challenge, and the power it has to bring people together. It’s never easy — especially when the weather turns or motivation dips — but knowing we’re running for something bigger than ourselves makes every kilometre worth it.

Justin Foote

Chatham Town FC

Began fundraising: 2019

Magic moment: The walk starting from Bramley Moore Docks (the new home of Everton FC) to Anfield, onto Goodison Park then back to Bramley Moore Docks and Justin raised £7,000 during the month and £31,000 overall for Prostate Cancer UK.

Message from Justin: I wanted to do an event for Prostate Cancer UK and saw that Jeff Stelling was advertising on Sky Sports that he was taking on a London Stadium Walk from West Ham United to the New Tottenham Hotspur Stadium to raise awareness and vital funds for the charity and thought it would be the perfect way to say ‘Thank You’ for the way that the people close to me received treatment throughout their diagnosis.

Dale Tonge

Rotherham United FC

Began fundraising: 2018

Magic moment: After being a part of Prostate United since the start of the challenge, Dale was a part of the Prostate United team that helped the challenge hit £1 million pounds in fundraising last year.

Message from Dale: I joined originally to help raise awareness with Grant & Cliff at Peterborough, since then it has effected my wider family directly. So now that’s the reason I’ll continue to raise money and awareness.
