My story

Prostate cancer kills one man every 45 minutes – that's half a football match. But it doesn’t have to be this way.

Throughout the challenge, Me (Bobby Lynch), Sophie Harvey and Emma Delves will be aiming to cover 5K every day between us.

As footballers who are currently in season, we’ll complete this by running 6 days per week and then use our matchday distance to help towards the challenge.

Bobby - “This cause is particularly personal to me, as my dad sadly passed away from prostate cancer in 2019. By taking part, we hope to raise as much as we can to support research and help improve the future for those affected by prostate cancer.”

Sophie - “ I am supporting this cause as a close family member is living with prostate cancer, making it important to me. I want to raise awareness and support the incredible work of this charity to make a difference to others going through a similar experience.”

Emma - “I’m proud to be supporting and raising money for prostate cancer awareness. Although I haven’t personally had family or friends affected by prostate cancer, I have experienced the impact of other cancers, which is why I believe it’s so important to raise awareness and support research for all cancers. Every donation and bit of support can help make a difference.”

Every donation, no matter how big or small, means a lot and will help us towards our goal. Thank you for your support! 💙⚽️
