My story

I want all the men out there to be made aware of Prostate Cancer and get tested!

It's a bit late in the season for me as I'm now living with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer.

In attack l have a team of brilliant and skilled consultants, doctors and nurse managers keeping me in the game with their latest tactics and my results are steady.
In defence I have a fantastic wife, family, friends and neighbours who put up with me when i'm not on top of my game with the hormonal sweats and coach me to carry on.

Two and half years ago, the week when i was diagnosed i went into life's injury time, But unfortunately it was the final whistle for my ‘best man’ Andy that week who we lost to prostate cancer So I thought I would do something to help raise awareness, every time I met somebody new, I tackled them with the prostate question ...Have you been tested? ...passing on the prostate message hoping to save lives
The Hormonal side effects have put me off my life game... No Gym... No Allotment... No DIY and no pub crawls!!

But now for the come-back!!!

I'm going to take this chance, offered by the Prostate Cancer Team to score 31 x 5k goals in a month.

So please support me in my attempt to beat the hot sweats and walk stride for stride 5 kms a day to raise money for PROSTATE CANCER UK
