My story

Most families have a cancer story, ours has several including my Mum (who we lost at 60), my Wife, my Father-in-Law (Prostate), my Uncle (Prostate) and my sister.

This challenge resonated with me as I’ve started exercising more and I wanted to get to 10km a day, and why not try and raise some money and lose weight too.

I've been walking for 3 months now to get my fitness up and have lost 7kgs and a massive improvement to my health (physical and mental).

Prostate cancer kills one man every 45 minutes – that's half a football match. But it doesn’t have to be this way. This October, I’m signing for Prostate United. I’ll be walking or running every day alongside thousands of other football fans, all taking on the same rival… prostate cancer. I’m raising money to find better tests and treatments so more dads, partners and mates get the chance to see another matchday. If you can, sponsor me. Every donation helps fund lifesaving research for men and their families. Thank you.
