My story

My Grandad Kirk has been battling prostate cancer for well over a decade and has recently found out that his cancer is getting worse again. He’s been through so much, and watching what this awful disease is doing to him has been heartbreaking.

That’s why I’m taking on Prostate United 2026 in his honour. I’ll be running or walking 5km every day throughout October, 155km in total, to raise money for Prostate Cancer UK💙⚽️

Prostate cancer kills one man every 45 minutes in the UK… that’s half of a football match. Football has always been such a huge part of my Grandad’s life, so this challenge felt like the perfect way to do something for him while helping raise awareness and money for such an important cause.

I’m hoping to raise £300, and every donation, no matter how big or small, would mean so much to me and my family💙
